I have been using "Cool Carbon" ("Cool Willy") carbon Kevlar pads on my 540 for track use for several years in conjunction with Ate "Power Disc" rotors. I've been quite pleased with the braking at the track, and you can use them on the street as well. Only drawbacks are that they squeal badly coming up to a stop light causing everyone to look at you like you don't take care of such a nice car, and they make a lot of sticky dust. I get mine from Turner Motorsports, highly recommended!

'94 540iA H&Rs, Bilsteins, RD antisway & strut brace, Jim C. DME chip, Dinan Tranny chip, and yes, 245/45-17 Kumho Victoracers do make a HUGE difference in speed and handling at the track (they fit too).

that don't have corrosive brake powder.
