IF your engine is running rich, you could poison the cat. That will set you back $$ (or $$$) depending on where you live. I'll echo the other poster and ask your supplier to ship it overnight.

I am unable to get a sensor for about a week. The check engine light is on and the diagnostic codes (1221) indicate that it has failed. My question is, I need to drive about 500 miles before I get the replacement sensor. Will this cause me problems by driving it before I replace sensor? Also, I haven't located it on the exhaust yet. Is it difficult to access to change on a 95 525i?
