I checked the archives and I just want to make sure I found the right stuff and understand it correctly:Symptom: Aux Fan high-speed fuse blown, no low-speed operation at all.
Cause: Aux fan low-speed resistor is no good, causing the fan to skip the low-speed startup and simply start on high-speed. When starting on high-speed, the fan motor may require more than the 30-amps allowed by the high-speed fuse, thus blowing the fuse.
Does this sound correct?
Thanks!
