Ron, A couple questions: Why did you choose the 740 springs for the rear; someones suggestion or your own idea. Also, are the Bilstiens Heavy duty or Sports? Did you buy every thing from Maxmillian? Which front spring # did you choose since there are a couple to choose from(some where between 807 and 812 I think). I'm really glad to hear some likes that setup. Thanks again, Drew

Has anyone tried any of the combinations of springs/shocks mentioned a couple months ago. I know MicahO is using bmw/boge up front, but has anyone tried bmw/bilstien all the way around. Just trying to get some feed back before I'm stuck with it. If anyone has some input please desribe the rides pro's and con's. By the way, anyone have good choice for a high performance all season tire(Z-rated). I was thinking about the dunlop sp 5000, but didn't know if they were maybe to soft for the corners. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Drew

1994 530it non self leveling

I have a 1993 Touring and eliminated the self leveling rear. I used 740 rear springs and the low slung M springs from BMW for the front. I ran Bilstiens on all 4 corners. The ride is perfect. Crisp but not too stiff. The rear is a perfect height, but the fronts only came down a half inch because of the Bilstiens. It is my wifes car so I will leave it. I would have liked another 3/4 in drop to the front. I am happy with this set up.
