Sean, you the local hot shoe. Gonna be tough. Care to try the Miata (it's got a few mods ;-). Rumor has it that you took a miata and laid a 535 body on it! Any truth there!?

Thanks, yep, that was my 540 at the dentfest. The hood dent came out fine. Most of the trunk ones came out (it looks LOTS beter). There were two centered over the latch that Paul could not get out completely. He worked and worked and worked on it; but BMW has a reinforcing place in the area that blocked his attempts. He only wanted to charge me for one panel, but after all the work he did (and the improvment he got on the trunk) I paid him for half a second panel. Sorry he ended up taking so much time on mine, I hope the others got dedented (undented?). Paul spent less time getting all the dents out of Tim's M3 than on my trunk! It would have helped if they showed up on time and with the second dedenter. The Southern Colors people sort of showed up and left. Did they do a demo at all? I saw them working on Steves 750 and then they were gone.

All in all a good day. We have to do it again.

As you can see from the results of the last autocross, the vast majority of Miatas finished behind my 535i (or as the PA announcer said, "the biggest BMW you'll ever see").
By the way, was that your 540 at the Dent Fest at David's shop on Saturday? Looks sweet. How did the repairs work out for you?
