There is no noise when standing still and turning the wheel, only when your moving slowly and the body also shifts as when turning into a parking spot. Think of an older man sighing as he sits in his favorite chair and you'll get the picture.



Could it be the power steering? I know mine groans a bit when it's cold, changing the fluid helped a bit I think I need a new filter...


When slowly turning into a driveway or parking spot, either direction, I hear a noise best described as a groan or creak coming from the front end as the body settles into the turn. Seems to be gradully getting noisier and has been occuring over the past month or two. Would replacing the sway bar links solve this annoyance, or does it sound like a strut issue?
