stick adhesive on the back from pep boys and almost any import parts store. Some checkers/kragen and some autozones have them as well. The blue goop never works for long and is a waste. Lubro moly lm508 Antiseize compound works pretty good with or without the shims. Preparation is the key. Clean all surfaces that can resonate against each other and coat with lm508. I use steel wool or fine sandpaper to remove the rust on these surface. There is also a relatively new product out that you spray directly on the pad surface that rides on the rotor. I haven't tried it yet,but they swear it works....
