That is the same fan I installed in my '94 540. I think the fan shroud must be bigger on the 540, since I did not have to hack up the top of the shroud. As I indicated in a previous post, the fan lasted less than a year. PermaCool indicated that it should last more than that, but I ended up buying a new fan clutch for the stock fan instead. I was able to power the fan via a small fuse block near the master cylinder. Looks like you do not have this connection point. At any rate, I liked how the fan performed, volume, and less noise.

Ok, this is the 1st pic, now I have to hide the wires more.
I want something stealth.

As you can see... it looks kind of ugly. Oh well, small price to pay to have the needle in the middle...
