Oh dear... so in your opinion this is not right?

Mine does it in sport mode mostly...

Shall I press for them to look at it and sort it out? My warranty runs out end of October so i haven't got that long!! I was told its the characteristic of the adaptive auto box.

Keep in mind that those transmissions had an eprom update and this might have been one of the areas that was changed/fixed (software). Find out if you did get the update and if nothing else, have on the record that you were showing signs of a problem before you warranty runs out. I didn't want to scare you into a replacment state of mind but I did want you to consider that this may be a bigger problem and have the tranny service to verify the prognosis. The filter and gasket will run you about $75 USD and the dealership and they will normally perform the tranny flush for $100-$125 USD (including the filter and gasket). Ask the to cover it and demand that this has been coming about for a while and sometimes shows a pressure problem when the car starts off when cold, creeping into gear for the first ride of the day. If I were the dealer and was offered the option of spending $100 to save the trouble of a tranny replacement, I would bite at the offer.

Let me know how it works out or if you need more symptoms.. :-)
