Yes, I am OK, just shaken up a bit. But my poor frau is not in such good shape. I am going to try and visit her this afternoon, hopefully an adjuster will call me today, and I can get the ball rolling. Unfortunately, (at least by my limited sight of the car that late, in the darkness) the Item concerning the "front end issue", seemed to escape harm. But if there is really as much damage as I think, it will probably be totalled. If I figure right, the trans and fender, bumper, lights, let alone any labor or misc. engine parts etc, could easily eclipse the $10,000 mark, probably even more. But, I haven't ever had to file a claim for my car before, and I really do not know what to expect.

Things have a way of working out, and That is how I have to look at it.

Thanks for your concern,
Nick Panich

That is unbelievably sad news Nick!

First, are YOU ok? Second, what the heck happened? Did the pedal go to the floor? Did something break?

Man, oh, Man! I am truly sorry to hear this news...but glad you are well enough to post.

Hmmmmmm...here's a potential bright side...maybe this is a chance eliminate the front issue we discussed on Saturday!

Crap, I feel kinda sick for you.

markus

Man, Markus, I am sorry you had to put that time into my car. I wrecked it pretty bad last night on raceway road by Eagle Creek. I was coming around a turn that ends in a stop, and my brakes were gone. Ran into the woods, broke some suspension parts, a rim, my front bumper, headlights, front right fender, and maybe the door, PLUS, the flatbed driver said it looked like there was a new hole in the transmission...Sigh, filed a claim today, hopefully hear something soon.....
