The three dials have a little metal clip pressed into a plastic groove. The plastic breaks really easily resulting in the loss of the clip. You end up with a loose dial. If you still have the clip you can glue it in. Otherwise live with it or buy new ones from BMW for $$$. I dont remember the exact price but i remember gassping. Can also search at a junk yard.
