It "should" have that feature already. Follow the instructions on the site, or just prees and hold down on the volume knob to get full-logic(large L) or partial-logic(small L). I use that feature myself in the city as I like to ignore the Walgreens' 5-X signals Ha! Unlike most detectors it only affects the X band, with Ka working as usual.

Hope that helps,

You can program the V1 to ignore certain frequencies (like X band, etc) if you know the local police in your area never use that band. The website doesn't recommend this practice, as it reduces your coverage capabilities slightly, but I don't think my 1998 V1 has this feature. (Does it?)

I think this is a useful feature, as no one in my area uses X band except for construction signs, etc.
