Another place is MotorBahn, 770-777-1818, Alpharetta ask for Ron, mention me. I had some work done on my '90 525i over there. Mostly just an oil change and belts. They were good but I think because of the area, Alpharetta, they were a little pricey. But I don't think you can go wrong with either.
I prefer AutoBahn 'cause it's closer :=) YMMV
Water Pumped, Belted, T-Stat'd and Inspection II'ed :)
I need some service work done on my '95 540iA... Inspection II, some problems with the factory theft deterrent system, and a "Trans Program" error. My question concerns using a dealer service dept. or another "aftermarket" service shop. I have a dealer that I've used and feel fairly comfortable with but I know a bunch of you guys (and gals) don't like the dealers. Both the dealer and some other reputable shops in the Atlanta area have quoted me similar prices on the Inspection II service, around $600.
Should I use the dealer or one of the other shops?
Who can I trust to do the best service and treat me fair?
Any other suggestions regarding good shops in the Atlanta, Ga. area.
Thanks for the help... I love my "Green Machine" and just want her taken care of!
