The center mounted stop light? It's often not checked cause you have the trunk open checking the left/right brake lights.

Also are they all BMW silver base bulbs. The circuitry is infamous for being sensitive to the resistance presented by the bulbs. The brass base ones then to corrode, driving the resistance up. The check circuit does not see the proper test voltage and thinks the bulb is out.

goes off in the computer panel. I have checked the bulb and it's good, but the indication stay on when I applied the brake. My
car is a 1995 540I. Please advice.
