Last week I rotated my tires. Not really sure how this could have anything to do with this, but wanted to mention it. In any case, the front end has this vibrating/moaning feel. Sounds stupid I know (hard to describe) Nothing audible, but in the steering wheel/pedals I feel this sensation as I approach a stop (MUCH like going over scared pavement- with really close together scores in it.) I've looked at the pads, fine, and have jerked on the wheels to see if there is bearing play. Nothing seems untoward. I do know I am rapidly approaching thrust arms/bushings (shimmy, age, etc.), but did not have this vrrmmmm feeling when coming to a stop before. Very fine vrrmmmm :) I'd swear it feels like dry bearings or something, but the wheels free spin without the noise/feeling (happens at low speeds, with and without brakes applied.)
O.K., I've gone long enough with such a vague thing, but couldn't help but to see if this jogged someone's mind. I'm leaving the office soon, and will of course be back on the forum in the morning to get your valued opinions/advice on approaching this.
