Could be the regulator pulled away from the gear (archive)

box. I had mine off last week. The regulator (I think that is what the part is called, the gold part of the motor that has the ectrical plug)had pulled away from the plastic gear box. The screw that holds it had stripped out from the plastic gearbox. I put in an oversized screw, dropped a dab of epoxy on it, and it's fixed. I can email a pic of the part I am talking about if anyone is interested.

HI everyone,

Can anyone tell me if my limit switch on my 1995 540I driver window has gone bad? I pressed 4 powered switches to roll
down all 4 windows at once on a recent hot summer day and my driver side window did not roll down at all. Could it be
overloaded on the limit switch? How and where can I order the part to get it fix or replace?
