The doors and hatchlid all worked at one time from the key fob, until I left the car with some folks who thought the only way to open the hatch was with the key. Now the latch for the hatchlid does not respond. Similar things happen with trunklid latches on sedans, and I am hoping that this is related to the power lock synchronization problem others have had in the past. As it is now, the doors (and hatch window) all unlock, but the hatch itself has to be opened with the key.

The other, truly frightening possibility, is that the hatch wiring harnesses are getting creaky and simply chose to crap out during the day that someone else had the car.....

Not sure I understand. Are you trying to get the remote to work (like after the batteries are changed) or are you trying to get all the doors to lock and unlock at the same time?

Don

I have searched for what should tell me how to do this, but who knows the remote-lock resync procedure that works? What I read and am trying is not working. My hatch was opened with the key, and now it will not lock/unlock with the rest of the car.....
