In Reply to: Canister Issue- Call BMWNA - Pls read! posted by Adnan on August 03, 2001 at 11:30:38:

Hello, fellow sufferers:

I spoke with BMWNA and explained the problem. To their credit, the gent I spoke with was sufficiently concerned and has promised to contact my local dealer (who installed under warranty) to get a feel for the extent of the problem.

What they need is to have all owners experiencing this problem to call them so they can build a database. So, if you have a long oil pressure light at startup, call 1-800-831-1117 and tell them what's happening.

Maybe they'll do something about it (hey, a guy can dream, can't he?).

BTW, Bruno, I have also posted on the UUC Digest about using an E28 canister.
