I stopped by my mechanic's shop today to check out my motor while it's still in the crate. The casting number looked familiar so I wrote it down and checked it with To my dismay it was 1 725 963h which means nikasil. I'm not sure what the "h" denotes at the end of the number. The shop owner wasn't there so I'll have to talk to him on Monday. S#@t

: A ballpark figure for a complete rebuild with cylinder liners at Korman is $8,000 plus. I stopped by there about a month ago and that is the price given to me.
