It is possible, and I even have some emails from a person who has done it, I just don't have them here this weekend, and if I dial into the office I will probably do some actual work! I will send what I have on Monday - there are also aftermarket cams from Shrick and BMP available in various grinds. $1000-$1200/set depending on the grind.

Anyone know where i can get (cheaply) the M-3 camshafts?
They are going to be fitted to a 1993 525i. At the moment i cant remember the years for the M-3 models and im too lazy to stand up and go downstairs to look it up, but its the M-3 that shared the same engine as the 525i and 325i. thanks and if im mistaken please excuse me and let me know to kick my mechanics butt next time i see him, although hes never wrong, hmmm oh well let me know if you know where to get them, and email to my account to let me know i got a response thanks. tresspaser@spiderlink.net
