Did my rear brakes this morning. Replaced the pads with KVR Carbon Fiber pads and rotors with ATE Rotors(OEM).
One thing that really made the job go smoother was this tool I got from www.motorworks.com part No.GL10115 'Brake Pad Spreader'
Really easy to use and does not move around like a C-clamp. You use one of the old pads to go between the end of the device and the caliper.
Another thing I learned from doing the front brakes was that if you keep a shop vac or vacuum handy you can vacuum up all the brake dust and debris that drops on the floor while you are workin. It really made clean up after the job today a snap. Another thing I use is latex gloves. Just buy a box of 50 for ~$4. Won't have to spend 15 minutes scrubbing your hands afterwards. I also had some sensitivy to some brake fluid I got on my hands while doing the calipers on my Cruiser. Gloves woulda saved me from the problems I had with a patch of skin on my hand.
