I forget the name, it was something catchy like extra hands or something. Made by Wolfcraft. I have used it for a lot of woodwork stuff, and when I needed to compress the caliper piston, I used it to squeeze the caliper shut. You end up with the long end of the rod sticking out of the wheelwell, but it is so fast, and all with one hand, that it's not there for long. The rubber pads don't slip or mar any surfaces, are wide enough to bite most of the piston, thin enough to fit deep into the caliper. You could also turn the feet around and use it in spreader mode.

Micah O'C (did someone else's brakes today, what AM I thinking? My car must not be enough problems!)
