That light should go out when continuity is reestablished with the brake lining sensor. Make sure the plug is inserted. It's a tough push. I normally lube the rubber with a little silicone. (boy, that sounds bad!) They are also a little tough during separation. Make sure you did not pull any of the wires out of the car side socket. If the new sensor is good (has continuity), then it's in the wiring harnes..

Replaced my front pads, rotors and the brake lining sensor, but the brake lining warning message is still on the OBC. Does the OBC need to be reset, or is there another problem present?
