Charles what state do you live in if in NJ I can recomend 2 places. you can e-mail me [email protected] good luck.

Hope you guys can give me your opinions. The dealer diagnosed a problem with A/C in my 1992 525i. They told me that "the a/c compressor is turning, but not recognized by the control; so the air coming from the vents is not very cold." They said that the mixing grille, controller, regulator, and control unit needed to be replaced. All these will cost me around $1631.00. You guys think this is a reap off, or should I find a independent a/c shop that specialize in BMWs? any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
