HELP Going to change M50 head gasket any tips??? (archive)

In an earlier post, I diagnosed a leaking head gasket on my 95 525i. I am going to change it next weekend. Has ANYONE on this forum done this job before? Are there any tricks I need to be aware of? What do I need to be aware of before I tackle this?

Any help would be appreciated.
