OK, I hope you folks can help me with my '95 525iA.

I just recently started getting this vibration up through the steering column every time the front tires hit a bump. It feels like the tire (either side) is vibrating from the impact and isn't under control. I did hit a major pot hole a couple of weeks ago. Could this have thrown the front out of alignment ? Is this what an out of alignment condition would feel like ? I've recently been reading here in this board, about issues with thrust arms and bushings. Any relevance ? I would appreciate any guidance you folks can give me. Thanks.
