Pollen, dirt and other crud. Take out a dirty microfilter and ask yourself if you want that stuff condensing and settling on a damp evaporator core? It's much easier to change the microfilter than to clean/replace the core. That air that is filtered by the microfilter passes through the core (otherwise how would it be cooled/heated)?

Not a good idea at all IMHO.

We're talking about a filter for pollen and the like. Enough og that gets in when you open window/door. Cheaper too. Any thoughts?
