I guess you have the following:
1- MUST have the bentley manual.
Definitely. Read the procedure 5 times already.
2- Take the compression of your cylinders to check how good your engine is
Engine is strong, runs great. No H2O in the oil, no smoke, only H2O leaking from rear of head nearest the firewall.
3- Perform the simple vacuum gauge test.
Will Do.
4- You can double check that the headgasket is really leaking by performing a leakdown test.
I will have the head pressure tested by our local performance machine shop.
5- Change all the headcylinder bolts.
On Order with the gasket set.
6- It is the time when you can tell to yourself: do I want to spend more money by having the head modified... hehehe. Even if you don't want any modif, find a good shop to have the head tested and cleaned.
See above.
7- Call BMA and ask them to ship you the parts you need at a great price.
All parts on order to be delivered on Thursday.
Take your time, get a lot of plastic bags and write the name of the parts on each of them... That will help if you have to put the parts back a week later.
Good luck...
