I can't find the link that was very informative to me some time back. As best as I can remember, you put the new chip in the alarm brain - there's a spot for it. Then you press the button on the brain to acquire the chip's code. Then you reinstall that chip in your remote.
Or some variation thereof. Someone on here must have saved the link, but I sure can't find it.
