archives. This is a manual shift knob on a '93. I've seen some say it pulls off fairly easily, and others say gotta really tug hard. Well, over the weekend I tried pulling mine off and I swear it's not budging. My fear is that I am going to screw up the linkage underneath the console or something like that. How hard should it be pulled? Any real concern of damage? I've considered splitting it up the side with a dremel and then spreading the slit to ease the removal. Any feedback appreciated!
