I called this guy to learn more. While he seemed nice enough, when I asked to chat to a few references, he never called me back.

The pictures I've seen of the installed kit look a little 'homespun'. The SplitSecond kit looks much more professional but costs nearly twice as much.

Let us know if you find out more...

"The MAF delivers 10hp to the rear wheels of a stock E28 535i. They can be purchased from either Modern Performance in West Long Branch, NJ, on (732) 222-3679 or Split Second. Modern Performance has a box that sits between the MAF and the cars wiring harness that performs the signal
conversions, so it looks like a standard Airflow Meter to the Motronics."

Has anyone ever considered this or researched it?
