At Global BMW the difference with BMW discount is $24. That and the 12 month carry in warranty justify it for me. I've never seen a mail order house offer a warranty on the rotors. Plus shipping the rotors is darn expensive. Before I learned my lesson, I ordered them from Zygmunt. Good price, but they took a beating in shipping. They were balos (per the box) and warped withing a few hundred miles. Replaced with rotors from the dealer and no problems.

Don

retails for 93.50 at the dealer. My local dealer only gives 10% for bmwcca membership which gives you a total of 84.15. They come in a Balo box with a balo part number. Now the Balo rotors from alloembmw.com come in the same balo box same part number and same warranty. They cost 43.85. Patrick at Bma is probably even cheaper than that. I haven't had any problems with balo or ate rotors for that matter on any of the cars I have put them on.

i have some shimmying upon braking at the higher speeds and believe it might be the front (?) rotors. any advice on this job and any suggestions on rotors?

Thanks
