Mine squealed for a month before the belt tensioner froze up, broke the belt and had to be towed. Usually did it at about 2000 RPMS and when accelerating.

I noticed it about a month ago while starting the car....it only did it once and it didnt happen again until maybe 2 weeks ago and it has done it every so often since.....any ideas?? Could it be my starter is going out even though it always starts up on the first try easily?? The screeching sounds like a belt.....is there a belt maybe that is running while I start the car? TIA
