Leave the key on position 1 and make sure the radio is left on, for 1 full hour. Then try the code again.

It's good to know the chip has nothing to do with the radio code.

However, I am not entering it wrong. I have checked and double-checked.

Sound like I should leave the key in the ignition for 3 or 4 minutes? hours? and try it again.
