...are just that. They channel the incoming air to the brake area, but do not attach to the brake backing plates. The rear of the ducts are screwed to the fender well and are not attached to the strut in any manner. So the install may be a bit easier than you thought.

Thanks for the updated prices. My local dealer - Bellevue BMW - is not the cheapest. :)

Did you happen to get a look at the backing plates behind your rotors? Curious if they have large holes or something where the ducts attach.

The picture in ETK is pretty non-specific. Can't tell if the protection plates between the cars are different - part numbers are...
