I have to replace the strange looking, 4 mouth hater hose, but it seems I'll have to remove the intake manifold and everything else required to do this. Any suggestions? Is there a proceidure anywhere? Nothing on "The Book".
Thanks in advance.

I just did mine back in May/June on a '95 525ia, M50 motor. Remove the connections at firewall, head, radiator, and I can't remember where the fourth hose connects. The hose is held to a bracket underneath the manifold...I managed to break both hold-down devices, but ended up reattaching the hose with wire ties (loosely, to allow for expansion). I fished the old hose out from the front, and put the new one in from the same way. Be careful not to kink the new hose too much, so you won't cause a premature leak. Email if you need more help/info.
'95 525ia, new cooling hoses all around
Thanks Bill. I was ready to take that whole thing off. OUCH!
