I got most of the important parts off this board. A guy in San Antonio had the stuff fitted on his 635. Other pieces came from all over- mainly boneyards believe it or not. I have spent about $2500-$2700 so far, the only thing left is to figure out where to fit an intercooler. I have been mulling over some sort of water injection system in lieu of the intercooler. Installation was....a learning experience. I started late last Oct, working on intermittent weekends. If anybody decides to try this, please get a good wastegate! I had it running in Feb with no wastegate bcuz the blow off valve was supposed to work as one. Not. Blew the head gasket after I saw 24lbs on the boost guage. But it all worked out. I am running 10lbs of boost now with 91 octane and no pinging. The car pull very strongly. I have no access to a dyno in the area, but my mech figures about 330HP. After the intercooler= more?! Driveability was an issue before I got the air/fuel ratio right, but now it drives quite well to my pleasant surprise. I cant comment too much on reliability since there are only 6000mi on her since the head gasket incident. But I havent done anything in that 6000mi except change the oil. Cons? I will probably go through tires faster because its too dam fun to drive, and gas mileage is 16/city, 23/hwy. Whoa, did this get long! I will stop. Thanks for the compliments!
