Sharking a Euro Spec Car?? (archive)

I have a 89 535i and live in Germany. Question is: Is there any benefit to Sharking this car? I asked Bav Auto about their chips and having the integrity I have become accustomed to from them, they told me that their chips are basially the euro chips. The book lists my max hp as 211 and Conforti is claiming 228, so that's 17 more horses. (trust me I can use them !)The car has a Remus exhaust and a K&N intake so I'm thinking a re-map of the computer might be in order.
