Don't think it's power steering fluid. In my 95 it calls for Pentosin which is blue green in color. If your uses ATF, it would be reddish in color.

Hmmm, Mobil 1 will have some better penetration properties. I don't think .1 quart is gonna do it. Where is the level on the dipstick now? On the mark or lower?

I'd clean the underneath up real good. Some Simple Green and light water spray. Run the engine at idle, then fast idle to see if you can spot where the leak is. (easier to spot on a cleaner engine.) Start low, work your way up. Most of these engines won't pass the quarter test anyway!

Is this the T? Does it have an oil cooler as part of the radiator? If so, check those lines. I think a loose drain plug would have been easy to spot (and too much to hope for!)

If it doesn't show up at idle, then take if for a spin around the block. First with left only turns (see if the left turns slosh oil into the leak area) Check it. Then with right turns. If it is a pan gasket, it might help identify which side.

Just some thoughts,

I changed oil in my wifes car last week and used Mobil 1 for the first time since we bought it at 58K mi. It now has 65K mi. I did overfill it slightly maybe I added 6.1 qts as close as I could measure 0.1 quarts. After filling it, it showed just a 1/8 inch over the top notch on the dipstick. Anyway I kept a watch on the oil level for a few days and didn't notice any decrease. Tonight I was under the car looking at some steering work that I was planning to do this weekend. I noticed oil all over about everything under the car, the sway bar, the left body rail most of the way back. The bottom of the oil pan had some fresh oil on it. I touched it and it looked light brown just like motor oil. I'm taking it to a real mechanic tomorrow to get a pro opinion of what's wrong. The oil level is still showing a slight bit above. Does anyone have any idea what might have happened. Can a small overfill damage anything?
