Please don't flame too bad if this subject has been beaten to death (I did search the archives). I'm the new guy, remember :) Whilst I had the auto shifter out of the car (was wobbly, why would such an over-engineered car use three little sheet metal clips to hold in the shifter assembly), I was able to peer down directly to the flex disc/guibo. Even though I don't have any strange vibrations yet, it is showing signs of coming apart. On one of the other forums, I read that one could potentially replace the stock item with the more expensive but heavier-duty M5 unit. Is this the case for the 525 automatic as well? Are the guibos for automatics vs manuals vs older vs newer the same size?
