Mercy, I think I may find a car by next year. I have looked and called on so many cars. I thought I had found the one last week, but I took it to a friends shop to look at it on the lift, and it needed new rotors, temp sensor, thrust arms, pan gasket, valve cover gasket, 1 high beam (water inside), rear muffler, and the one thing that really turned me off, prob. needs a head gasket.

Even after discussing this with the owner, still wanted high 8 grand ish for it.

Everyone else thinks these are still worth 15-16 k for a 92 ish 100k mile+ 525 or 535. I still appreciate leads, and I have called on several of them only to find out the car has been sold.

Oh well, back to autotrader and

Browse the inventory of these guys. I've not dealt with them, but Holland Hale is a local CCA member, a good guy. The '94 525iT doesn't look too bad.
