I have a 90 525i w/190K miles and last winter the car skidded in the snow and hit a curb. After that the car had serious shimmy around 50-60 MPH. I was told the thrust arms were damaged and needed replacment. I never had the xtra cash till now.
Thanks to President Bush, I received my rebate check couple of weeks ago and bought the parts from Tony at BMA. I replaced the entire front end. Thrust arm, sway bar, tire rod etc..
Just got the car back yesterday spent about $700 but the car drives like its new.
