This last weekend, I jacked up my car and started to attempt to remove the driver's side thrust arm. Could not access the nut on the thrust arm except to slide up my wrench behind it and it barely fit. Could not remove ball joint... My concern is this - I can probably work on the arm to swap it out - however I am not sure how I will access the mounting bolt to tighten it when the car is back on the ground and loaded up for proper positioning of the arm. You're supposed to turn the nut to tighten, not the bolt? Is the nut supposed to be towards the front of the vehicle or the rear? Very tight space under there, is this the same on all models of the E34? Any suggestions? I am really in the dark at this point.

New Lemforder's with 750 bushings in hand and big question mark floating over head. :(
