I pull up to a light, and a C5 is next to me, cute chick looks over. I dunno if she wants to race, but of course I'm not gonna waste my gas racing a C5... anyhow, the light turns green, I take off like normal. All of a sudden, I hear a burnout behind me and she TAKES OFF. I'm still not accelerating fast, see the cherries go off in the rearview, cop pulls both of us over (2 cops in 1 car). Tells me I was "spinning my tires, causing smoke and debris" (BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!). Gives me a ticket for Exhibition of Speed, dunno what happened with the Corvette. Anyhow... what should I do, guys? I guess I'm gonna have to get a good lawyer... I had 2 passengers, so they'll be witnesses... I would really appreciate your help on this, I'm scared shitless of getting this on my insurance (I already went to traffic school last year, don't have that option).

Can anyone recommend a good lawyer in the Los Angeles area?

Thanks guys... this is bullshit... the law just hates kids driving better cars than their american POS squad beaters.

BTW, he wrote on the ticket "97 BMW 535i". Dunno if I should be honored or something, but would this provide a flaw in his case? He also wrote August 31, 12:40 PM, when it was 12:40 in the morning, just after midnight. Also said I was doing 40 in a 35, but I looked down at my speedo when I saw him pull in behind me (lights off) and I was only doing 30 or so. DAMN this pisses me off, I'm totally innocent, and I'm gonna have to spend money to prove it??? FUCK that system, man...
