If it flickers between gear positions or works for say "N" but not "D" then it's likely the gear position start/disable switch has gotten dirty. It's a simple DIY to remove & clean. Here's a link

The light on my transmission position indicator in my dashboard went out today. All others indicators are working fine. Can you guys recommend what I should check on first? Is there a fuse just for that indicator that I should check first?
