BTW-Have a safe and wonderful trip!!!

Well, I tried a couple of translators - anyway---- My Touring wagon has more storage room!

Having taken road trips in a full size Club Wagon van for years, packing the wagon for even a weekend was a bit constrained. I got the Yakima racks a few weeks ago, got the Rocketbox yesterday. With another 16 cubic feet of storage, weekends are a snap. It doesn't impede the movement of either the hatch OR the sunroof. And it doesn't make much noise (I've only had it up to about 60 so far).

But I will have to take it off for Autocross, won't I?

The racks are Yakima parts - Locking Rail Rider #1 and 48" bars. I had to file the base and the slide nuts a little bit for them to work on the integral roof rails. I can also move the RocketBox outside another 4 inches and get 2 upright bike carriers next to it. LOTS more space!

(I could have gotten a white one, but I once saw a white Audi wagon with a white Rocketbox on it. First I thought it looked really clean and sharp. Then I thought the owner must be the most retentive guy in the world. I decided I really don't need to reinforce my already strong AR tendencies.)
