I had steel ones installed on my '95 touring. They seem fine. If you're ultra concerned about weight and stiffness then go with aluminum. Otherwise, steel is fine.

BMA sells both, but the steel are much cheaper. Anyone have any problems with the steel ones? Shimmy? etc?

Thanks for your input
