If doors are hard to close and/or open and make noises in the process, then most likely thing is the roller at the end of the stop arm. This is inside the door and can be lubed either with some kind of spray (WD40) or by removing and lubeing. I've had about 50/50 success with freeing them, with replacement being the only fix some of the time.


advice? white grease? any specific brand? does it really work?
