Sorry, r o b. The shelf I mentioned is what your rear speaker covers are attached to. There are metal clips that hold the covering in position. The clips on mine were loose and developed a rattle on the passenger rear speaker side. I removed the rear seat bottom and back, then lift up and pull forward on the package shelf under the rear window. On the backside bottom of the shelf there are 3 clips, they were loose and had play in them causing the rattle. I shimmed them with tight again and reinstalled. No more rattle....hope your problem is as simple as mine was.
