Went to Best Buy and bought generic BMW wiring adapter. Made all connections to wiring adapter that came with unit. Took 1 hour. Plugged it in and it worked. That simple!

to install either a factory BMW from a newer model or another brand? Is it just a matter of getting adaptors? i plan to use the blaupunkt amp that came with the car and the factory speakers.
